Town of Huntington Cat Shelter

Winifred came to us when a disheveled woman walked into the building with Wini in her arms.  Immediately we knew we needed to help her given the flea dermatitis covering her body.  The woman’s story didn’t add up, but that didn’t matter to us.  We just wanted to make sure she was safe.  Winifred turned to a cat in the adoption room.  We never expected this from her cage persona.  Winifred is all love and just wants to be the center of everyone’s attention.  She’s extremely vocal and will quickly let her presence be known.  She'll easily accept any kind of affection.  She loves hugs and kisses and even more, cuddling up with other cats.  Winifred is the perfect cat.  Our vet estimates her to be about five years old, but you would never guess by her petite stature.
