Town of Huntington Cat Shelter is a municipal cat shelter for the Town of Huntington
The Town of Huntington Cat Shelter is a municipal no-kill shelter established to serve the homeless pets and pet owners of Huntington Township. The Town of Huntington Cat Shelter is managed by Little Shelter Animal Rescue.
Little Shelter operates the Town Cat Shelter at no cost to the taxpayer. Its purpose is solely to serve the community and its felines.

TOH Cat Shelter is a no-kill facility, so cats are safe to live their lives until they find their new forever families.

All Town of Huntington Cat Shelter pets receive the
highest quality medical care and are
spayed /neutered before adoption. Every potential adopter is interviewed and thoroughly screened to ensure the best quality homes.

Should cats be brought to the Town of Huntington Cat Shelter via the Town of Huntington Animal Control Department, they will remain in the shelter until they can be reunited with their families, or they are officially surrendered to the shelter. Stray cats will remain in the shelter for seven (7) days while we attempt to find their owners. Cats who are the victim of an eviction will remain in the shelter for ten (10) days while their families have the opportunity to relocate and reclaim the cat. After the hold period has expired, all cats will become available for adoption.
