Town of Huntington Cat Shelter

We’re looking for a very special home for Miss Roxie.  She has been having a terribly hard time adjusting to the shelter. Being around other cats for her has been a challenge.

After being dumped on the side of the road, learning to trust has been a process for Roxie, but she has made incredible strides since her first few days with us.  Roxie is a people cat.  You see her true colors after spending one on one time with her.  She’s a tiny but mighty cat and we know that her loving capabilities can be just as bold.  Roxie is a lap cat, a loyal cat and a cat just begging for understanding.  Her only way of expression has been through her voice, and to some people that’s scary.  Roxie’s eyes say everything that you really need to know - she’s just so sad and shut down.
