OUR LONGEST RESIDENT!  Mitzi is slow to warm up but once she does, you’re in for a real treat!  When her walls come down, she loves to just curl up on a nice warm lap or bed.  Her love languages include, but are not limited to, chin scratches, churrus, cookies and naps.  The staff often describes Mitzi as a lovable grandma!  She’s looking for the same thing any senior would want, a safe place to retire and call home.  There’s a myth out there that Mitzi fell out of the sky in a little basket and landed at the shelter door.  What better explanation could there be for her supreme cuteness?  If you’re looking to open your heart and home to a senior in need, she’s your girl!  She’d do best in an environment where she’s an only pet or with another docile cat or dog that can respect her boundaries.  We want nothing more than to see Mitzi find her forever this year.  She deserves the world and we just know there’s someone out there perfectly suited for this queen bee.
